What does it mean to be a man?

When we are posed with that question many things come to mind. We can talk about confidence, leadership, strength and all of those would be good answers, but what is the core of being a man? In the last 40 years the roles of a man and woman have become more and more blurred. Women in the 1940’s and 1950’s would stay home, raise the children and took on the role of a submissive wife. In the 1960’s and 1970’s feminism took center stage and as more and more divorces happened women became single mothers and left to raise boys on their own. I was a product of a single mother and no father in the 1980’s and I have spent a great deal of my life trying to answer the question of what does it mean to be a man?

Now as we turn the page into 2010 we see these roles barely exist anymore. Men have become dependent, lacking direction, followers, cowards and more than anything irresponsible. In the community we learn about the “attraction switches.” We are taught to be confident but we are never instructed as to WHY this role is important or even HOW to actually sustain confidence.

So what is a man in 2010 and why does this matter to your dating life?

Because being a man is a role that will NEVER disappear. It may seem obvious, but the truth is;

Women… Like… Men..

I want to give you my characteristics of what a man is and what their role is.

Responsibility
Most men believe that being responsible means supporting a family financially. Being responsible means your role is to accept when you are wrong, but live with the mindset that you are right and confident in your ability to make decisions. A man should also contribute to the emotional, spiritual, physical and mental well-being of his family and significant other. This means taking action when the circumstances call for it and doing what it takes to solve issues that arise.

A Protector
A protector means that you can more than just physically protect her from other people; it also means protecting her self-esteem and self-worth. One of the greatest compliments a woman can give a man is to feel safe around him.

A Leader
A good leader takes the lead rather than passively waiting for your spouse or significant other to initiate it. Leadership shows confidence and we all know that confidence is very attracting to a woman. Most guys miss the mark here and view leadership as a one way street. A good leader inspires others to greatness, thus giving value while he leads the relationship or household.

A Mentor
A man of high value is a mentor to others through word and action. Set high standards and teach by doing. He is impeccable with his word and his actions display confidence as well as mentoring others to improve their lives. This is a powerful trait for a man to have because the strength of character it takes to be a mentor shows a wide variety of attraction switches such as: Confidence, leaderships, social proof and social status.

The spineless behavior of men is changing the roles that men and women have and causing men to become submissive, feminine and afraid to take the lead.

The first step to understanding and changing this behavior is becoming dominant.

Dominance does NOT mean that you own another person, simply put dominance means that you have authority over another person. You take the lead and lead the interaction. If we talk about relationships it means that you are the one who leads the relationship, others are along for the ride and offer their input. You do NOT control the other person, she is free to be who she is just as you are free to be who you are, you are simply leading the relationship and she is more than welcome to add input.

A lot of guys mistake dominance for total control…

A relationship is not about control because control is based in fear, a relationship should be founded on love and love is all about freedom. Dominance simply means that you are going to step up and be the man. You are going to lead her and she is going to choose to follow or not. This means making plans, choosing where to eat, setting boundaries and enforcing them.

The next step is Assume leadership.
You are the leader because you are the man. Tell her what you want!! When I counsel people in a relationship I often find the same issue that happens over and over again. Neither person is expressing what they actually want.

You will NEVER get what you want if you do not clearly communicate what you actually want and expect from the other person.

Assuming leadership means that you understand your role as the man in the relationship is to step up and lead. Take authority over your actions and lead the relationship where you want it to go.

Controlling Emotions
One quality of a man that many people overlook is the ability to control emotions. Women are creatures of emotion and thus their moods will change as their emotion’s change. As a man you are responsible for controlling your emotions and not letting your emotions control you. Many times when a man has no father figure and was raised by a mother only he will be a very emotional man. Part of assuming the role of a man though is to have dominance over your emotional well-being as well. Its OK to show emotions, in fact it is vital! However, you need to show restraint and that restraint of emotion is VERY attractive to women.

Becoming Independent
Independence is a major trademark of a man. Independence shows that you can take care of yourself and therefore you can take care of others. Independence shows that you understand the way life works and have broken free from your dependence on others both financially and emotionally.

Having Direction in life
Having a direction in life is another vital role that a man must take on. If you are to be the leader of a relationship or family you must display that you are taking her in a direction she wishes to go and that she has the faith in you to follow. One of the greatest compliments a woman can give a man is that you are multi-dimensional. You have passions other than what she first saw.

Setting standards
In the beginning of any interaction with a woman you are sending signals to each other about where your boundaries are. You communicate these in many ways such as verbal cues, body language and willingness to comply with suggestions. As you set boundaries the woman’s job is to test these boundaries to see if you will keep her in check. As the man allows his boundaries to be broken the woman loses attraction for him. Over time, the woman will leave the man because she loses all respect for him and sees him as an unsuitable partner.

A man sets his standards and keeps them there. One of the greatest phrases that holds true in life is “we teach people how to treat us.” We do this by setting boundaries and then holding others accountable for violating them.

For a final point I will try to answer the question what does it mean to be a man. I guess from all my experiences I can say that we know we are a man when we see one. When you become responsible for your actions you begin to understand the world not from the eyes of selfishness, but from the eyes of selflessness.

I think a lot of time we fall sway to the “I will be happy when” ideology.

I will be happy when I get what I want. This ideology causes a great deal of suffering because we make an agreement with ourselves that we will not be happy until what we want is here. Happiness is never found in anyone or anything, true happiness is a feeling that comes from inside of you.

One of the major keys to happiness is contentment. You must be content with your life right now or you will never achieve greater things because you’re mind will always be in the future wishing for something that has not yet manifested. Happiness is never found outside of us it is always inside. We like to believe that if we had what we wish for that happiness would soon abound but the fact of the matter is that that temporary joy will fade over time until we find something else that we want.

When we seek happiness from external sources we are chasing a dream that will always remain just out of our hands. As we obtain these external things new dreams are formed and we must chase them or risk suffering. When one derives happiness from inside you will take it with you everywhere you go. No one can take your dream away because it is inside of you and cannot be bought, sold or destroyed.

The next key to finding happiness inside of you is to accept what is. It is what it is in your life right now and you must see your life not as good or bad but you are where you are in life right now to learn as much as you can. No matter what you believe is bad in your life relate it to something MUCH worse and you will see you’re problems could be much worse. Nothing is good or bad, big or small it is all in what you relate it to.

Over the course of the last couple of weeks there has been a principal that has repeated itself in my life and the lives of the students that I have been teaching and I wanted to share it with you guys...

THAT WHICH RESISTS... PERSISTS...

I am sure most of us have heard the phrase before but I wanted to break it down a bit because I have seen this very concept work time and time again in the field and its something that I believe is a part of a deeper understanding about life.

When you resist against something it gives it energy and make the force that you are resisting that much stronger.

By resisting...
you are reflecting back to you...
the very thing that you do not want...

Let’s take the example of a break up in a relationship. If the woman breaks up with you and you do everything you can to win her back instead of allowing her the space that she wants then you are resisting the break up and thus giving it power. Your focus is not on bettering yourself in this process but resisting the break up. This will cause the break up to persist and to actually become more painful. When you stop resisting and allow yourself the freedom to walk away and give her the gift of allowing her to reassess the situation then you stop giving it power.

The more you resist the things in life by saying
“ no I don’t want that”
you are magnifying the very things in which you don’t want. Spend your time and energy thinking and feeling what you want rather then what you don’t want and watch as it manifests into your life.

This is the principal that is based in the martial art Aikido. You redirect your opponent’s energy and you’re their force against them. You do not resist their attack but redirect it. This principal is universal and holds true for all problems in life.

Though we understand the principal, we now have to put it into action. One way to redirect the resistance is to..

constantly...
be aware of your feelings...

Since your thoughts dictate your feelings, start by thinking positive thoughts. Think of things in the present that you love about yourself or other people. Think of fun times that you have had throughout your life and really get the feeling associated with those times. Stop resisting what you want to change and understand that change is inevitable but growth is optional.

Guess Who?

So where have I been? I am sure you are all asking that question and the subject of this blog will subsequently be the answer.

Its easy to get wrapped up in the “lifestyle” of pick up when you begin to become proficient with this. You buy all the books, read all the gurus posts, watch all the material and suffer from what I like to call a pick up bulimia. Everyone knows what bulima is, it is a disease in which a person gorges themselves on food only to vomit it up a short while later.

For a large point in my game I suffered from a form of pick up bulimia in which I would gorge myself on products and anything I could devourer only to throw it up a short time later to other people. My lifestyle was in chaos but my game was growing at a pace that was alarming. I was teaching with companies, getting to meet people that I idolized in the community but I wasn’t healthy. Sure my game was solid but my lifestyle was not conducive to the quality of girls I was meeting. I longed for something to ground me and all the women in the world can never fill the void of self loathing.

I decided that pick up needed to take a back seat and I needed to fix my lifestyle. Other companies love to address that symptoms and not the ailment and tell us that lifestyle will come as your game develops but this is a misnomer. You must take control of your life; no one will do it for you. So I opted to stop teaching, give up opportunities with companies and change my lifestyle for good.

Through this process I knew that I wanted to help students but in a different way then I saw my peers approach it. I think life is managed not cured and I watched far too many teachers and gurus try to cure students.

So I stopped teaching and fixed my life. Eight months later I can say that there are very little things in life that were as important for me to do as the decision that I made eight months ago. My game has been revolutionized and I am finally able to do things that I never was able to before when my lifestyle was in chaos.

So what is next?

I have been working with another dating coach for awhile now to develop a system of learning custom to every student. The way we have been teaching is changing lives and I am so thankful for the students that we have worked with thus far. We are not here to sell you another pill that treats the symptoms of your issues with women and relationships; we are here to

get rid of the disease.

I am going to be updating more on all of this and giving away free lessons from our new model of socialization. Watch of all this and more soon!

There is a great discussion going on in the Boston lair that started with a post I made about picking up the 10. I want to share it with you guys and email me your thoughts! MAYSONPUA@GMAIL.COM

So I want to hear your thoughts on picking up a genuine 10.

Let me first preface this by saying people's rating systems are DRASTICALLY different but universally we can agree within a point that a girl is a 10.

Second let me say that I feel as though in the community we have been infused with ideas from Love Systems and other companies that the principal for picking up a 10 is the same as a 6 just more negs. This is something I am against whole heartedly. I feel that anytime you lower a persons value because your value is lower then hers, then you are just being a value taker.

Specifically, what do you do different when dealing with a 10?
What strategies do you employ?
Be honest, do you even bother with 10s?
If you have ever closed a 10 what did u do the same and or different.

Here are my thoughts... What are your thoughts?
First off let get on the same page with a couple of things.

1) When you see a girl you process your value compared to hers.

Basically this means that when you see a girl you are sizing her up and then placing a value upon her based in a number of qualities, mainly attributed with appearance. This looks based value system continues until conversation is made and then it scales back a small about but as guys we are still driven by appearances.

For the women they too judge appearance but instead of the symmetrical qualities that we as guys look for they are much more concerned with the sub communications and if the guy is taking care of himself. If the guy looks like he took longer to get ready then the woman did then many times they will be turned off. If he looked like he walked out of the forest and hasn’t shaved or showered we all know that, that is a deal breaker as well. The main thing that a woman is looking for upon approach is the subtitle cues WAY MORE then what you are actually saying.

2) Value is a magnet it is dragging around your perception all the time.

This aspect is true for guys and for girls, that PERCIEVED value is a filter in which we view the individual. The reason that I capitalized perceived is because perception often times equates with deception. Remember back about 8 years ago when the magic eyes pictures were all the craze? Basically, it was a picture that upon staring at it for sometime you would see a 3d image. At first all you saw was a scrambled picture with nothing in it, but once you finally got it you could see the actual picture inside it. The first perception was that there was nothing there, upon closer inspection we realize that there was something there and we were deceived at first.

Value works just like the 3d image.

3) This game is about value

To get the girls of exceptional quality one must display value in a way that is congruent with who they are. What I mean by this is since girls respond to value the way we respond to a beautiful girl in a mini-skirt, we must display value in a way that is congruent with who we are. We are not all club owners, promoters, bar tenders and well connected so you must start to display the type of value that is more long term. This brings us to our 4th point.

4) Women think more long term when it comes to value.

Women are constantly thinking about where this will go and what could happen down the road. To display the value that most 10s look for, (and again most 10s are not your average run of the mill club rat, these are the girls who have looks, brains and ambition) you must project your value in a long term setting. Being goal driven in your career and life is something that these rare types of girls will truly be attracted to. This displays a mastery over your sense of self and even biblical texts agree in the book of Proverbs that a people without a vision perish. What this sub communicates about you is that you have a vision for the future and she could share in the fruition of that vision, this excites and stimulates her.

5) Tips, tactics and more

I can tell you all with humility and honesty that I have never closed a 10. I know that in this community we tend to have a chip on our shoulder that closing women makes you better at this game and in some ways, “cooler” among your peers. The truth of the matter is I work as a dating coach, have worked with many people across the US, worked with major pick up companies and through all that I STILL fail. What makes me succeed where others give up is my passion not to wrack up the most lays but to leave women better then I found them. This principal if giving value is ironically something that goes against the grain of much of the mainstream community ideology. We are taught to neg (lower a woman’s value) we are taught to DHV (demonstrate higher value) and all in attempts to finally get her home and have sex. Sure we all want to have sex but the irony is that the more you make a girl feel that she has value beyond replication she is instinctively drawn to you as a moth is drawn to a flame.

To get the 10 takes a mastery of the right combination of value and elusiveness. You must stay just out of her range NOT out of her league. At the end of the day getting the 10 is much more about value, both giving and receiving it rather then negs, backhanded compliments or displaying HIGHER value.

As customary I want to take a look at 2008 in review.

Resolutions:

12/24/07
New Years resolutions:

1) Be more social – Expand my social circle and meet more people in general.
2) Be more confidant- For me this means work on inner game quite a bit. I want to be the person that I have always felt lives inside of me. Life is to short to waste on trivial matters and this year I will meet people of like mind who want to be more then they were brought up to be.
3) Kiss 25 different girls- This is a person resolution that Weez and I have decided to adopt as a part of our pick up game
4) Grow my game- This means many things to me. First off I want to learn how to socially interact at a very high level by displaying higher value. I want to learn the social interaction that takes place between high value males and attractive females. This resolution also means to me that I must teach others the skills that I am acquiring. I hope to help change people’s lives through the Venusian Arts.

1) Be more social and expand my social circle.
I started 08 with a core of two people who I consistently hung around. I now have over 75 numbers this year and that is JUST the people that I actually talk to. I work for the clubs that I sarged in as a promoter and one of my best friends owns the place that I first opened a set in night game at. I smashed this goal.

2) Be More Confidant.

These are just some of the things that girls have said that I documented in my journal. This doesn’t count the banter, countless IOIs etc. I wanted to be confidant and I didn’t find my confidence in others but with their constant complementing I did realize that I possessed it all along.

3) Kiss 25 different girls.
I thought that this was going to be the hardest part of 08. Before 08 I don’t think I kissed 25 different girls in my entire life. This goal has been a GREAT learning experience and I am proud to say it has been completed!

4) Grow my game.
I wanted to teach others this style of game that through the GREAT help of learning from people like Doc Holliday, Ganglord, Entropy, Saffron, Stallion, Hollywood, El Topo, Captain Jack and so many more I found what works for me. I created new social systems that I have never even thought of before. These new social systems have changed my game and have yielded some amazing results not only with women but with everyone I come in contact with.

I taught with Practical Pick-Up as their approach coach this year. I went to Vegas to teach with the Art of Charm and Race and Kelly and learned from the students and teacher there as well. I did multiple one on ones and watched students with physical ailments rise above their handicap and pull some beautiful girls. I finished the Path to Pick Up, my first ever ebook which is a new social system to getting the life people crave. I smashed this goal and I could not be more proud of myself for the accomplishments that I made.

And now a year in review, 2008.

2008 comes to a close I sit humbled by the experiences that I have had. I was able to travel in and out of the country teaching these New Social Systems to people. I met some amazing friends and build the foundations of future friendships.

In 2008 I continued to lose weight dropping another 40 lbs losing over 80 lbs since I began this journey. I have kept this weight off for over a year.

In 2008 I launched my career building websites and graphic design projects for companies all over the country. I struggled with money but somehow I found a way to keep it all going.

In 2008 I build countless friendships and get to work as a club promoter. I have build such a strong social circle that I don’t pay to get into a club anywhere in the area and I never have to wait in line. I am treated like a celebrity in any club that I go in.

In 2008 I saw that bright lights of Vegas. I was not only able to number close the HOTTEST stripper I have ever seen but I was able to get paid to go out and teach the skills that I learned a year ago.

In 2008 I had more sex then I have ever had in my life, kissed more girls then I have ever in my life and been around women more then I EVER have in my life.

In 2008 I watched some of my friend who hated this change not only embrace it but ask how they can learn the social systems that I have learned.

In 2008 I fell in love with who I am as a person and know that with hard work the sky is not even the limit for my potential.

Game is not about wracking up lays to take vengeance on women for your hurt in life. Game is about improving yourself that you can share your best self with people who deserves it.

You ALWAYS learn when you go out! Whether you teach or whether you are a student there are always lessons for you to learn and here is a glimpse of the lessons tonight..

-Sometime being social can bite you in the ass when you are trying to isolate a target because everyone wants a bit of your time.

Lesson is… Learn to handle obstacles quickly!

-A woman will forgive you for being a man and being sexual…. There is no forgiveness for not pulling the trigger.

Lesson is… PULL THE TRIGGER

-What separates an AFC from a PUA is method. A PUA has a method to the madness an AFC will simply either not do anything or rely on “luck.”

Lesson…. Plan your logistics!

-Everyone has value…. From the guy asking to shine your shoes to the guy parking your car.. We are all people who dream, hope, aspire and react.

Lesson… Inspire greatness in others.

Finally… Sometimes the right thing to do is not get the girl. A friend who doesn’t know anything about the community got this girl that I was working for a bit. I pumped her BT then got pulled away into another set, I came back and he was making out with her. I stood there for a minute to watch my work vanish in the clash of another’s lips on my target. I knew that could have been me but I was not mad. For that guy who I think is a really good dude btw, it was his highlight of the month a least. I turned around to see PLENTY of girls in the club and knew that it was just a matter of approaching to line up the next. He didn’t have the ability to do that, so for him… This was the big time. I could have walked over and stole her back but why would I do that? I like to think that right now he is somewhere getting his groove on thanks in small part to my game.

Lesson.. In a land full of candy there is no reason to be upset over one misplaced piece.

field report.. My day 2

I remember when I got into the community I heard someone say that you should trust your instinct. Now looking back over the last year I can understand what they mean.

Recently I had a day 2 with this girl and we decided to meet for coffee at Barnes. I am a big fan of doing something really low key on day 2’s and then venue bouncing to various locations. She was super shy and so anyone who knows me knows that I joke a lot and it really helped her break down some walls. I started my comfort phase and talked about my childhood and talked about the first book that I read. Now normally this is not part of my comfort game to talk about my first book but since we were in Barnes it was logical to. She smiled and thought it was cute and sarcastically said wow, you really miss that book huh, want to go find it? I laughed.. paused for about 2 seconds and said, “hell yah lets go to the kid’s section.”

We made our way there and she found the book. It was cool because I haven’t seen it in YEARS. I looked at the book for a minute with a smile on my face and told her to sit on the floor I am going to read it to you. Her face got red and I sat on a stool and opened the book. As I finished the first page a couple of kids came over and asked if they could listen. I smiled big and said, “sit down next to this pretty girl and listen in.” Her face had the most sincere smile I have ever seen in my life on it.

As I continued reading an old lady came over and asked me if her son could listen as well. I smiled and said sure. The ladies son wondered around a bit and didn’t pay much attention to the story. As the story finished I got up and the lady came over to me and my date. She apologized for her son’s misbehavior. I told her it was not a big deal he is a kid. She said no you don’t understand he has autism and no one ever reads to him so thank you very much you made his day. My dates face dropped and I smiled and said the pleasure was all mine.

I walked off and she stopped me and grabbed my hand. She told me that she was amazed by me and wants to spend a lot more time together…. I think it went good :P

The lesson here is NOT to go lying about your stories in life so you too might get an autistic kid to read to. The lesson is have fun and give value to EVERYONE cause you just might make someone’s day.

Alive?

yes .. I know I know.. it has been awhile but I have been taken some time off to work on other things in my life as well. I always tell people that it is important to have other things going on and man do I ever at this point.

I want to inform all my reader/friends that I am going to take a backseat from teaching for at least a month. I am clearing my schedule and going to use this blog as a back to basics FR, LR and Lifestyle report medium in which we can stay in touch and I can discuss WTF I am thinking. I typically take time off and help "reset" my mind from time to time and it has proved to be very helpful.

As always I will TOTALLY help out by answering questions and I am going to be offering Path to Pick Up as a road map to lifestyle change to everyone via google checkout. So in the next couple of weeks I am going to be really busy on this blog posting away my thoughts not as a teacher but as a student. We NEVER stop being students of the game and believe me I am not even close to a guru so just like you I have much more to learn.

so for now.. Goodbye to teaching.. Hello to back to basics.

How to write a story

One question that people ask me consistently is how do a write a story that displays value? So today we are going to talk about just that and I will give you a step by step process so you can write your own stories.

How to write a story that displays value.

First off I do not advocate lying in any way shape or form. Each person on this earth has things about their life that other people will find fascinating and the following will teach you how to harness these life experiences into stories that others will find fascinating as well. In your stories you are NOT bragging at all. You are simply telling a story and flipping an attraction switch in the woman so that she will relate to you.

You must take time and develop and test these stories much like a comedian will take their time and work on a joke. These stories are important and will help you generate conversation when you run out of things to say. It is important to keep in mind that the delivery of these stories must be well thought out and planned. If your tonality and delivery is off then your story will lose its value. Finally, always keep in mind that you body language says more then you can say with a million words so keep that in check when you are delivering your stories.

Basic Principals of Your Story.

Flipping the Switch.
The following are well known attraction switches and your story must convey one or more of these principals.

1. Pre-selected by women.
This basically means that you are and have been selected by other women in your past. This is a hybrid of social proof in which it is more directed toward the individual then a peer group.

2. Leader of men.
This displays that we are the alpha male of our group and we have the confidence to lead other men. This is another hybrid of social proof in the sense that you are displaying your leadership qualities.

3. Protector of loved ones.
You must be willing to protect what you love. She needs to understand that you can protect and watch over her. Understand that this does NOT mean you have to display that you can hold your own in a fight. This means that you can be dominate and defuse situations that arise, all the while protecting her.

4. Willing to emote.
You have to be able to display a range of emotions. You want to take her on a rollercoaster ride with bringing her into that range of emotions from happy to crazy to calm to seductive.

5. The willingness to walk away.
In every interaction with a woman there is a point where you have to make it known that as much as you want her you will not beg and you can and will walk at anytime you find the cost is greater then the reward. This concept is vitally important and can give an immense amount of attraction when done correctly.

How To Write Your Story.

The most efficient way to write your story is to answer the following questions.

What are the three most influential people that you know and what do they do?
What places have you traveled to?
How close with your family are you?
What are you passionate about? (art, music, play instruments)
How many languages can you speak?
Have you had a girlfriend in the past?
If you have been in a relationship before what is one cool thing you did together?
Do you have friends who are girls? What are their names?
What do you do for a living? (student, occupation etc)
Do you own your own house, apt or car? (this is not VITAL but helps)
What do you typically do on the weekends?

Now that you have created this list I want you to look it over and see how things can fit into attraction switches based on your life. For instance, let’s say you have traveled to Ireland to go see your favorite band once. Here is a sentence and explanation how it causes the attraction switch to flip.

So my favorite band is Jane’s Addiction and I saw that they had this massive tour in Ireland. So I called my friend Jaime and told him about it and we should go because I thought it would be an amazing adventure to be in a country that we have never visited to see my favorite band….. /end story

Let’s see how we flip the attraction switches with this short story. So you have musical interests that may or may not be like hers but shows that you have an interest in music without a doubt. From there you took an adventure with a friend which shows pre-selection AND leader of men as well as a sense of fun and adventure. All these things were displayed in just a couple of sentences. Obviously your story has the option of continuing as you talk about the experience and how it felt to be there.

Make sure that you PRACTICE your delivery again and again as this step is crucial because 10% of the message is your actually words and 90% is your body language.

Important Thoughts To Keep In Mind

Never Brag. The difference between bragging and talk is all in how you say it. For instance, if you were tell talk about the time you won a trophy in karate this is bragging.

“So I am awesome at karate and I have won a bunch of trophies.”

Here is how you should word it

“So I have always been passionate about karate and have worked hard at it, eventually I got pretty good.”

You are saying the same thing but it is all in how you word it.

Talk At A Rhythmic Pace. Do not talk to fast because the message will not get across and you will sound like you are nervous. On the other hand if you are slower and rhythmic with your pace you will sound in control and confidant.

I get a good amount of email from people asking me to talk about LRs and FRs but as you see I don’t really find a lot of value in posting them. I am going to break down the interactions of a couple of reports lately in hopes that my readers see it as something that is adding value and shows how you can push the limits of an interaction.

First let me tell you some pretty exciting news. I am putting the last touches on the final version of Path to Pick Up! This is a 6 week guide to improving your social life and it is packed with tons of new exercise. I have worked for a long time on this system that I can offer people who want a hands on approach to making fast improvements in their social lives without paying hundreds and thousands of dollars.

In addition to this I have some great new posts from guests that I will feature on my blog and believe me when I say you will NOT want to miss this. I am going to be updating more and more each week as I travel out of the country this week to teach. So STAY tuned!

FR: Chastity Belt Girl
The venue was packed as a special guest DJ was bringing in lots of people and I just got back from Philly 5 hours before we arrived. To say I was tired was an understatement but one of the things that you notice when you go out a lot is that the nights you least want to go out that greatness happens. We arrived VIP with a bunch of friends including Ganglord, ready to have a blast. When we go out its not about sarging, it is about having a fun time, creating a fun environment and drawing positive attention our way. It’s ironic because even though we never make it about “pick up” we all end up "picking up".

After the manager buys us a couple of rounds of shots we decide to head downstairs to the main area. I get close to the stage and this girl is pointing up on the stage right next to me like she wants to get on it. My female friend is on the stage dancing and I look over at the girl trying to get on stage lets call her HBchastity and tell her you need to know the password to get on stage. She smiles at me seductively and asks what the password is. At this point I bring her in close and whisper in her ear,

“if you don’t know the password then you cannot get on it.”

I set the sexual frame and she smiles even bigger and I catch her glance at my lip ring. I tell her that this is the password, and I kiss her. She tells me she likes that password. I dance with HBchastity for a bit escalating my kino as my hand moves up her thigh. She pushes her ass into me as I feel this weird plastic like thing at the end of her skirt. It’s like her skirt is so dam tight that I cannot get my hand in there. I back off a bit and tell her I will be back.

At this point I see another of the hired dancers up in our VIP area so I stroll back to our table and befriend her male friend. I have seen this guy before he is an awesome dancer and pretty cool guy. So I open the set and lock in between him and her as I take a picture with her. Then HBchastity comes up to our table looking for me and interrupts my set. I introduce them all as she pulls me away. We talk for a bit I get her number and the night is winding down. She asks me to walk outside with her and I walk out of the club with her arm and arm. We get outside and her brother comes out to talk to her and speak in some language I have no idea WTF they are saying. Ganglord is with a dancer so I have no wing to deal with this guy and so I interrupt him and say

“hey man awesome time tonight have you been here before?”

He knows his sister is about to fuck me and is trying to pull her away. They are arguing in some language so I walk over to this Spanish girl I see outside and say,

“wow its crazy when people argue over shit in a language you don’t understand.”

She laughs and says

“what are they arguing over?”

With a smirk on my face I whisper in her ear pushing her hair back….

“Me”

She looks up and smiles and I tell her lets walk across the street and get away from this. I hold out my arm and we walk across the street leaving HBchastity to argue with her brother. HBSpanish and I stop and talk for a bit but we are under a time constraint as I am about to leave and so is she. This guy comes over and starts telling her she has to leave. At this point I am thinking WTF is this with guys pulling these girls. She looks at me and says,

“that is my brother he protects me from guys who try to pick me up in clubs.”

I laughed and asked if he is taking more clients because these girls are crazy here. I talk with her brother showing him I am a cool guy and not some creep and he pretty much hands her to me and says her back in five minutes. Lesson #3,453 BEFRIEND THE GUYS: they hand you their girls, sisters and friends.

I look across the street and see Ganglord in a six set and three DAMN fine girls. I am ready to go over there but first I have to finish business. I end up making out with HBSpanish and getting her number walking her to the car then going to this 6 set. Ganglord is chatting up this beautiful blond girl and he introduces me to her smoking hot blond friend. We hit it off as I tell her about my crazy night of what just when down with the 2 girls and making out with them and how I was disappointed now cause no more fun for me tonight. She mentioned that she didn’t even get kissed tonight so I was ahead of her. We talked for 10 minutes outside as I would drop sexual innuendos that she was trying to get me home with her then drop into comfort, all the while escalating kino. We starting making out on the street. I end the kiss, lick my lips and taste the chapstick of three girls in this strange flavor of wax and berries. The thought brings a smile to my face and as I turn around I see Ganglord kissing his dancer in this passionate embrace I happen to capture on his Iphone…

The night ends as the taste of waxy berry chapstick reminds me that who fucking cares if you are tired, the best things happen when you want to stay home.

If there were no community...

A few months ago Captain Jack did a blog post called, “What would you do if the community didn’t exist.”

I wanted to put my own spin on this and get a chance to talk about some things that have really opened my eyes to a new world. First here is an excerpt:

Just for a moment, Imagine….

No community. No help whatsoever aside from Barbara DeAngelis and Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus.

No Gurus, No bootcamps, No seminars, No TV shows, No online forums or DVD’s or CD’s. No RSD, Mystery Method, No Speed Seduction….

All of it….Gone.

Imagine a big dupster in your mind and all that stuff going into the dumpster and then the dumpster fades into nothingness.

What do you do?

You are alone with no help.

You still need to meet a sex partner or a girlfriend or lover. Biological urges are the same. But now its just you and girls.

Take this seriously.

What does your heart tell you to do?

Listening to your heart is the key point of interest in this entire topic.

My heart tells me to take action.

My heart tells me that I am more then my appearance

My heart tell me to take a risk and see what happens

My heart tell me to believe

My heart tells me to go

I believe without a doubt that our hearts in a pure context give us the guttural instinct to do the right things. It is emotions that betray us and cause us to misstep. Our emotions can work as a service or a hindrance; it is up to us to decide when to act upon them. So much of this game involves shutting down your emotions and becoming un-reactive which while in principal is excellent to overcome rejection and learn to not take anything personal, if you continue applying this to life you are like Adam Sandler in the movie Click, just going through the motions without reaction. You will fail to make a true connection with people because they will always sense that something is off.

First off I want to thank EVERYONE who took part in the FIRST edition of PATH TO PICKUP! I am going to share with you some of the stories that have changed people's game forever and I am truly blessed to be able to have a part in it. Path to Pick up is not gone but is going through its next phase as I re-edit the program with feedback from the students.

Vegas Report: Gaming the Gamer...

Vegas was filled with lessons, some of them humbling and some of them life changing but when it came time to showcase my game to the dancers in Vegas I was pumped and ready to roll. Granted I have never spent any time doing strip club game so all this theory was in my head understanding how to game the gamers but I knew that I was in for a night that I would not soon forget.

From the night we arrived we were taken to a small strip club and Jamieson and I were on from the minute we entered the club. I had a beer and we began getting the girls to approach one by one and each time they would ask me for a dance I would tell them I am tired and really not thinking about that, I was simply there to grab a drink cause it was close to home. Most of the girls would plow and ask me if they could get me wide awake. I would tell them that they would have to be way over the top to do that. Challenging them to showcase what they had. This worked for initial interest but I soon found that I would have to transition rather quickly.

Through these micro interactions I quickly learned in the space of an hour how to de-program the dancer and get REAL conversations. Finally I was able to use solid game on this girl and her friend. She was a solid 9 and a bitch and a half… JUST the way I like it. She asked me if I wanted a dancer and I began like I have done earlier that night talking about my flight and how I was tired. She told me that I was no fun and I am in Vegas so I should party. At this point I thought…
”well, if she can dish it she better be able to take it.”
I looked at her bewildered and said..
“Wow, you kinda suck at your job huh.”
At this point I began to get hot with embarrassment worried that I pushed it too far but I knew that this was the right thing to do. She leaned back, examined me, smiled and said
“This is my first night.”
She told me how her friend who was dancing on another friend of mine told her she can make great money. I dropped into qualification and she complied… hard.

At this point I got real IOIs, she was not interested in me as a customer but her interest was something deeper and I could see it as she warmed up to me giving me the doggy dinner bowl eyes. I launched into some serious comfort but lacked something that would end up blowing me out with the hottest girl in Vegas later that week. Forty minutes later the girl was still there sharing her life with me showing me her cell phone and telling me how the world is an evil place. I stood my ground and talked about my heroes and how there is good in the world as she proceeded to grind me. She told me that we should all meet up after word and told us the place they are going to about 60 times in rapid succession. We left the place around 7am and I felt like my first experience in strip club game was a success but nothing could have prepared me for what happened next.

The next night we wanted to spend more time in a strip club so I asked what is the most famous place with the HIGHEST quality girls. We got our answer and drove there that night. The place holds 1500 people and there were well over 200 HOT dancers. I was going to need every ounce of skill I had to pull in this place. Walking in was like nothing I expected, girls and guys everywhere and no place to sit. My friend greased the bouncer and he cleared a table for us right away by kicking out these three guys who were sitting there. We ordered a round of drinks and like moths to flame the girls started to come over, it was like they could smell the money and who can blame them, they were there to get paid and on a night like this they would make a TON!

A couple of girls sat on my lap and I would get into conversation easy as this new de-programming tool I created last night was working VERY well. I really wasn’t into any of them and so at this point Jamieson informed us that he was going to find the hottest girl in this place and bring her and her friend over here. Thirty minutes later he delivered. He brought over a smoking hot blond for him and the HOTTEST girl in the entire place for me.

The interaction with HB10 began with her asking me if I wanted a dance. I told her no but I charge 20 bucks and I will dance for her. She gave a sincere laugh and smile and I launched right into my de-programming. There is a hooking point with each of these girls that you can see they kinda just shut off the game and get wrapped up in who you are. Once you get there you know you can get honest qualification. Jamieson said something VERY profound:

“Strippers start in rapport.”

Knowing this it is YOUR job to stop her from rapport and go back into attraction. This was displayed as I was cocky and funny to HB10 and really showed a non-neediness. These things caused an interest to form in her and I ran it as a regular set after she was out of working mode. There is a real shift from her seeing you as a customer to her seeing you as a potential match and this is the most important thing that you can do to get this type of girl.

She sat on my lap giving me free dances for over two hours. She didn’t leave my side except to go to the bathroom and she walked right back to me. I would look over at Jamieson and he would with a stern face nod which seemed to say you are in. At this point in the interaction she pulled out her phone and started texting her friend who was working to meet me. I told her that she had to give me a cute text too, it was only fair. She put in my number and texted me just as I asked, I had just number closed the hottest girls in the place.

It was getting late and she asked me if she could go make some money. I told her she better because we are going to breakfast later. She smiled embraced me and went off to dance for other guys. I would peer over and watch her work these guys and think to myself wow, they think she is into them but as she would dance for them she would look back at me and bite her lip and smile.

At the end of the night we left the club and my friend told me to call her right now. I was beyond tired and thought that if I waited for a bit she would be off work. Words cannot describe how frustrated I still am that I didn’t go get a red bull and call her THAT second. I let buying temperature fall and she wanted to get laid that night, I set up game that was deep comfort without the proper seduction and that is the formula for a relationship. One error at the end of the night cost me the hottest girl I saw in Vegas. I texted her when I got up but never got a reply. I was sure that what I did or in this case didn’t do cost me that interaction but I looked at her number and decided to keep it in my phone. I kept that number because each time I see it I am reminded to escalate the interaction no matter how tired you are. I kept that number because it reminds me that attraction has so little to do with appearance and so much to do with personality.

A long time ago I heard a phrase that came back to haunt me. “The chances you miss most in life are the chances you never take.” I will chalk this one up to experience and a lesson that I will never forget.

Before Vegas I thought I had my game together. I thought my life was going pretty well and I was secure in my abilities to deal with people socially. I had an idea of where I was going and how to get there. The weeks leading up to Vegas changed me as a person and through the next couple of weeks I am going to attempt to explain how.

Part 1: Becoming a man….

What does it mean to be a man?

This is a question that I have pondered to three weeks now and I am STILL not sure if I can fully define it. I think that the definition is subject to change much like one would define love. For me being a man is stepping up to the plate when you want to just be complacent. It means being independent and a provider for not only yourself but for other people. In essence being a man is being someone who brings out value in others.

When we learn pick up we are learning how to be men. We are learning not just how to get the girls we want we are learning how to becoming the men who these high quality women are attracted to. Since value is a magnet that drags around our perception we must as men have the type of value that we give freely to others. An example of this would be if you saw someone on the street who asked for a penny. Chances are you would give them a penny without thinking because a penny to the average American is a disposable thing. We have pennies in abundance and thus give them freely.

In Vegas I was able to give value to targets as easily as I give pennies to someone. For most of my life I was the person who took value from others. I got involved in Pick up to take validation from girls. I figured that the more girls I slept with the more my self esteem would grow. The girls came and went and so did the self esteem. It was not until I learned the greatest paradox in human history that I actually gained tangible self esteem. That paradox is, the more that you give without expectation the more you receive.

While I was in Vegas I opened a set one night while we were at a local bar. There were plenty of girls in the set to go around but I made sure to talk to each of the girls and get to know them. I came to one girl who physically was not attractive at all to me. I spent time with her and raised her state, I got her off the seat and dancing and ended up having a great time. I found value in someone who I normally would have dismissed. As the night drew to a close I saw her sitting down once again, I went over to her and asked her if she was tired already. She said I am tired a lot. She then told me that she has cancer and has been in chemotherapy. Then she told me that tonight she has had so much fun and it was thanks to me.

The paradox of human history hit me in full force. I gave this girl value when other people would have passed her up and because I did find value in her I received the best gift I have ever gotten.

VEGAS BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!! What a time and I cannot put into words what the experience was like. It is so good to step out of your reality and look at people and places that you have never seen before. Big props to Race and Kelly from the Art of Charm who are some of the most down to earth truly gifted friends that I have been able to meet. I am a better person for having known you guys.

Myths of Pick Up: This is easy...

Let me assure you that nothing in this game is easy. People are always searching for the magic pill that will allow them instant results with women. Our society today is based on fast results and instant gratification but the harsh reality is that lasting change takes time and work. I cannot sell you instant change or promise you that this journey is easy. All I can tell you is that the reward is worth the struggle.

I have taught many people pick up and some have stuck with it and changed their lives forever and sadly others have realized that this game is hard and backed out only to slip back into old patterns. As an instructor I really do care about each and every student I speak to. I came from a guy who was over weight, depressed and suicidal to building a life of beautiful people around me constantly. When I have a bad day now, I have a phone full of people who would drop anything to see me. My world is based on excess and I have found a new life from the ashes of my old self.

Did any of this come easy? No.

From my posts maybe I led you to believe this was easy when it wasn’t. Maybe I made you think my success started with my first approach and not with the countless failures. Maybe I made you think that every set I opened was a success, that my game was built on principal rather then passion. Maybe you didn’t see that failure gave me strength, that my pain was my motivation. Maybe I led you to believe that pick up was a god given talent and not something I worked for EVERYDAY of my life. Maybe I made this look easy…. Or maybe.. You’re just making excuses.

If a seed could talk...

All around us there are marvels that take place that we may never see but they are the natural balance of this beautiful world. Let’s take for instance the life of a seed. Something so small and seemingly insignificant that many would take it for granted can produce an amazing result with enough time. The way seeds reproduce is unlike humans or animal, see the seed reproduces by dying.

If a seed could talk I think that it would have more wisdom to say in two sentences then most of the things humans have said in two centuries. The seed would tell us a lesson that transcends all human logic because the seed would say that to truly live your best life and become the best you….. you… have to die.

You have to die to your old habits and lifestyle and shed the things in this life that have kept you complacent and locked in fear. In life, like in pick up people want results as quick as possible but they sit and play video games for 12 hours, eat like shit and want attract models. Nothing about pick up is easy but nothing is more rewarding then being able to attract the people that you want in your life and doing what other people only talk about doing, changing your life.

The seed would tell us that you have to lay down what you are now and trust that with time, effort and pressure you will crack…. And it is in that cracking of your old shell that the beautiful inside is exposed to finally grow into the best you that was there all along. I can only imagine that the first seed was afraid to die on a theory that with time it would become something bigger then the contents of its shell.

We are all confined to the shell that we place on ourselves through accepting society’s norms and limiting our belief patterns. We are constantly living inside of the shells that we have created through our experiences and internal dialogue that we accept. The seed would argue that the shell is not the life that we create because if we just cast off our shells and die to these old ways we will grow to something that is 100 times bigger then what we can imagine. Tyler often says “what would you do and who would you be if fear didn’t exist.” The seed would argue that fear is part of our shell and if we just commit to letting it go, knowing that deep inside of us we possess something more we will do just fine.

It startles me how a seed can teach us so much about inner game.

Fundamentals... and major announcement

As many of you know I like to go back to fundamentals from time to time because I truly believe that if you have a strong foundation in game then the other smaller things tend to work themselves out. Let me break down what I consider to be fundamental game.

1) The ability to open and hook a set:

The first building block of game is the ability to successfully open and hook a set. You should be able to approach any set within reason and deliver a successful opener which causes the set to hook. This means that you are not constantly self doubting as to if it will work if she will like you etc.

2) The ability to illicit attraction without the neg:

There comes a point in game where you really don’t need neg’s anymore. When most people start they tend to over use neg theory as a defense against rejection as you progress in game and being to get good you stop using negs and as you become quite good you realize there is no such thing as rejection and you begin to give value rather then take it.

3) The ability to frame and reframe:

You start to understand how a frame works and how to reframe statements to figure out how to pump her buying temperature. The beginning stages of this are a fundamental of pick up and continues on later as you learn more.

There are more fundamentals that I believe are quite basic things like having a 20 minute repeatable stack that you can use from open to number close every time are really important for a foundation.

The reason I am brining this up is because I have completed a guide I call “The Path to Pick-Up.” It is a break down of three major categories of game:

Lifestyle, Inner Game and Outer Game.

It is a 6 week challenge for people who seriously want to improve their game and get this part of their lives under control. I am not selling this project or even giving it away right now what I want to do is slowly post sections of it for your feedback. Value...

I think one of the wisest things I have heard in the pick up community was from Jeffy when he said, “Are you a value giver or a value taker?” That phrase changed my game from being the cocky guy who lowers the value of women to being the guy who makes girls feel wonderful about themselves.

Value is a magnet that drags around our perceptions. If we perceive that our value is less then the hottest girl in a venue then our bodies react to that information. The way to fix these micro level issues is to understand what TRUE value represents. Society tells us that beauty is a direct correlation to value but we know that these things are not true. There are plenty of beautiful women who become addicted to drugs and waste their lives only to die alone and depressed. The other major factor is that beauty is really a common trait when you think about it. Go out to a local club and notice how many beautiful women you will see on a given weekend.

True value has nothing to do with looks or money it has to do with personality. When I approach a girl before I utter a word I really don’t know what her personality is going to be like. Is she going to be fun and playful or shut down and rude. Sure body language will give me an indicator but I don’t know so many things in the approach so who’s to say her value is higher then mine. The fact remains that perception is deception in pick up. What you perceive you create in reality and that is why it is so important to be your best self. Once you get a grasp on the concept that value is a tool in which you can screen potential mates then you will no longer fear beauty but react to it based on other factors.

Finally it is important to understand that men value the physical and women value the emotional. As men we own more gadgets and physical items in which we view as status and value then women. Our emotional connection to our 54’plasma TV is irrelevant because own the item and we feel as though the more items we acquire the more value we have. Women see value in the long term as opposed to the short term. A woman needs an emotional connection over a physical connection, though both are very important. To put it another way, men are turned on like a light switch and women are turned on like a volume knob. Understanding how value works between the sexes can help shape your game into that of being a value giver and making women feel as though they want you in their lives as opposed to the arrogant value taker which is the typical role for any man.

One of the easiest ways to improve your game is to create a mentality in which your failures become successes. This sounds very magical to most people and impossible to change but life is a frame in which you view your reality. One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. I want to introduce you to one of the most important concepts that can change your failures into successes with each approach, what is this thing? We call it the abundance mentality.

The abundance mentality is a frame of mine in which you understand that there are many options in this world when it comes to women and just because you failed once it does not dictate that you will fail forever.

People with an abundance mentality believe the following:

"The more I open, the more there is to close."
"The more I give value, the more value there is to give."
"The more I learn, the more there is to learn."
"People are great. They will help me reach my goals."

Abundance starts in your mind. The more you think abundantly, the more abundance you can enjoy. The more abundance you enjoy, the more success you will enjoy. The fact of the matter is that there are 6.6 billion people in this world 3.34 billion are female. To quote a famous movie,

“You are not special. Your are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.”

The best way to accomplish this is to eliminate 100% of all DOUBT of your success. Expect Abundance. What you create you will have plain and simple.

Finally, work at this. This is something that has changed my game and has produced a tremendous amount of results. For the people who think that this all came easy to me let me tell you that I have failed over and over and over again in my life…. And that is why I succeed

My Guide to Fashion...

You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

How we perceive a person is judged in a split second and this is why you will never get a second chance to make a first impression. Look at the following picture and what is your first impression.

Look at the next picture and what is your impression?

Women size you up in seconds and once you know this and understand it you should allow this to be an advantage rather then disadvantage. Fashion can be used to DHV you and add to your value constantly without you saying a thing. Without verbalizing anything you state that you are cultured, have social value and have physical attractiveness.

People ask all the time what is the quickest way to change your outer game. My answer is found here in fashion. There are steps that you can do right now to get instant results that will help your game but like all things, it takes knowledge and then action. That being said please note that being the most fashionable man in the world will not replace your lack of inner game. Becoming fashionable will increase your confidence, and positively influence your inner game.

Personally I embrace a metro-rocker look that works well for my personality as well as my job. This look has taken me 9 months to fully get and there are times where I still add and take things away so understand that creating this “avatar” is a process just like pick up is a process that you learn over time.

6 Steps to Sexy Stereotyping

1. “What other people think of you is none of your business”

Understand that it is 100% irrelevant what other people think of you. You have to be willing to embrace the change no matter what your friends and family will say, after all you are here to better yourself and your success with women. Any change is hard at first but as people get accustom to it they too will see it’s benefits.

This point is best illustrated in the following story. I went shopping with my friend and he saw my shoes and wanted something similar. He just started getting involved in pick up and thought it would be a good investment. That night he went out with a bunch of friends to a movie and all the guys started ripping on him about how gay he looked. As they were doing this one of the guys girlfriends entered the movie theater and looked at the shoes and said, “Oh my God are those cowboy boots? I love them I am so much more attracted to you now.” All the guys stood there wide eyed and mouths open. By the end of the night they were all like hey man where did you get those.

2. Take an active interest in fashion

Knowledge is power plain and simple. The more you know about a topic the more you are going to be able to use that knowledge to tweak your own style.

3. Find a master model with your body type

If you are a big guy then find bigger guys who dress good. Same with tall, short or any other body type. Save pictures of these people!

4. Model your style after that person

Find a celebraty or someone famous who you want to model your style after and get a ton of pics of them so that you can reference these at any time. Here are some that I suggest:

5. Test it out

Go to the mall and don’t worry about game. If you have some friends who are girls bring them with you and ask their advice. Girls can help you with matching and what will look good on you so use their advice. Try stuff on and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TRY NEW THINGS. Some of the best outfits that I own I got because I tried something that I thought looked stupid on.

6. Expand and refine it

You should be trying to convey the following when you wear an outfit:

Educated in cutting edge fashion
Well/interestingly groomed
Current and up to date
Understands Subtle Communication
Dominant, Attractive, Elite, Access to Resources

To do this you must expand and refine constantly so that you are getting the most bang for you buck. This should look effortless! PLEASE NOTE: (No woman ever wants to know how long it took you to get ready. Women want men, not boys that take longer to get ready than they do. Take any compliments about your outfit in stride; never let a woman know how hard you have worked on getting your look together. You always want to appear SMOOTH and EFFORTLESS.)

FIT, COLOR AND WTF TO DO??!?!

“Clothing is the outward expression of the inner person. It’s important to dress in a way that sends the right message but also looks effortless and natural. Wearing clothing that is inappropriate to your inner character is the biggest mistake a man can make in terms of fashion.” -Giorgio Armani

The #1 rule of looking good is GET CLOTHES THAT FIT CORRECTLY! I am willing to be that most people have no idea how clothes are supposed to fit! I can explain in in 6 pages of text or you can see for yourself so stop right now and watch this slide show and see how just getting clothes that fit make a drastic change.

Now that you can see the example of how things SHOULD fit here are a couple of key concepts to fit.

Shirts and Blazers. The fit along your shoulders is most important. Generally speaking, the shoulder seam should be right at the point where your shoulder crests, or begins to fall sharply. As a general rule, most men wear shirts and jackets which are too big. When in doubt, go with the smaller size! The following is an example of a proper fitting shirt and pants combo!

A good blazer is something that is an investment but work the price! If you are a bigger guy go with pin stripes and a dark color, I recommend black or dark navy blue.

Jeans and Pants. Most people tend to buy too large. Buy your true waist size and inseam. Go to a tailor and get measured if you do not know what it is. I typically buy straight leg jeans because they will give you a much longer look in your legs. You want the jeans to fit snug because they will give a bit, just not so tight that we see the frank and beans.

Color primer
One rule that is essential is to figure out your base color. This means the color that works best for you. There are certain colors that everyone can wear: black, white and grey. Generally, you want to bring out the color of your eyes by matching a shirt with your eye color. I have a bright blue shirt that is flashy because my eyes are bright blue, you will be astounded how much it brings out your eye color. If you have brown eyes, brown, or tan will work well for you.

Shoes: Shoes get more attention the you guys can imagine. Shoes can make or break and outfit and it is one of the FIRST investments that anyone should make when it comes to changing your style. Personally, I am a big fan of Steve Madden, Mark Nasson and Aldo. I also really like boots as opposed to loafers most of the time and here are a couple of examples.

Rules to live by in fashion:

Always match your belt with your shoes. This is a good rule to follow and it keeps things simple. It's best to stay with traditional colors such a black, dark brown or a rich tan. I often wear a white belt as well with some bad ass Steve Madden white loafers and a white tie.

Socks. Wear dark socks period. So many people wear white socks and it is so over done. I wear black socks 99% of the time.

Finally, TRY NEW THINGS! You never know what you are going to look like until you try it out and see how it looks. When I go to a club I want to look different then other people but not stupid. You want to stand out but not in a bad way. Everyone wears pin stripe collared button downs. There are many people who go to clubs looking like this:

Now with a little effort and knowledge that same person can look like this:

The reaction I get is always positive from girls and it gives me an opportunity to stand out in more then one way. The key here is not to look like a clown but someone who looks like they are well dressed and it is congruent with who you are. Wearing a fuzzy top hat will not get you laid and chances are you will just look like a moron. My rule when I go out is to wear something around my neck a girl can play with, wear wrist accessories and stand out in a good way. I also tend to wear my aviators in the club a lot because I always get sarcastic comments about how it is not sunny in here etc. I want people to say something to me positive or negative because from there I turn the conversation on. I remember one time where this girl who had some chode following her around saw my tie at the club and came up to me and said wow that is really lame as she grabbed for it. I told her if I cared what she thought I would be that guy who was following her around. The point is, be uniquely you!

For a long time I have wanted to interview people in the community who I have met that really stood out. I want all my readers and anyone who finds this blog to be able to get access to the same material that has helped me on so many occasions. The following is an interview with Race from Window Shopping for Women. They are a company that teaches guys how to pick up girls online. Hey Race, Tell us a bit about how this all got started for you

Well we were just a couple of guys who just inadvertently stumbled across this ridiculously effective system for meeting and dating women online using sites like myspace and facebook. Kelly actually originally discovered how effective it was while doing a promotions job online. He had such ridiculous stories I had to sit him down and see what the hell he was doing to get the amazing results he was getting He sat me down.. showed me how to 'reformat' my profile, write messages to practically ensure a response, and how to transition those interactions into dates. Within literally two weeks I had met like 40 women. Since then we have spent the last year refining it for any guy to use with the same results. We really want guys to learn this stuff, we want to provide any means to help them learn it easily.

Can you give me an example of a typical message interaction? Like how does it go down for you.

Well we usually just browse for the type of women we are looking for in our area and send out an opener that is out of the ordinary, something that catches their attention and (along with our profile) sets us apart from all the other lame messages girls are getting that day. After they respond, we transition into role-playing, games, etc to make a connection. We like to keep it light and fun not showing too much interest. Here is an example of part of an interaction:

How has learning this changed your interactions with women online and off line?

It really helps in almost every essence with women. Weather or not you are meeting women from myspace/facebook to 'date' them, adding women to your life what ever the reason helps. Adding tons of social proof and social value, on top of that the role of 'dating' is actually flipped. When a women makes the decision to agree to meet up she is acknowledging to herself that she is attracted to you, that means when she meets you she is hoping you are attracted to her versus you opening a girl in public and having her initially aware that you are already into her she starts off attracted to you when you meet. Many guys have a huge fear of rejection or "approach anxiety" as they say in the community. When you approach a girl online that is completely taken away. As they get better at interacting with women, even if it is online, it gives them more confidence in person.

What advice would you give to people looking to expand the amount of women they can meet online.

Well after you set up your profile correctly and learn the proper way to interact with women online your options are almost limitless. There are seriously every type of girl imaginable online: models, promo girls, the girl next door, tattooed girls, hippie girls, your grandma, etc The best part is when you meet up with girls online they usually bring their friends so you double or triple the amount of girls in your life almost instantly. Buying Temperature..

Sales-representatives use a term that the community has adopted and once you understand how it works it will change the way you look at social interactions forever. That term is buying temperature. I define buying temperature (or BT) as; the level of general attraction a girl feels at any given time, it is the woman's emotional receptivity and her level of general attraction to the PUA.

With proper calibration, you can pump a girl’s BT through the roof and generate a substantial amount of attraction, comfort and physical escalation. The purpose of this post is to explain how to pump BT.

Dancing- This is one of my common tactics that I like to use to both create attraction as well as qualify her ("So you are beautiful but.. are you good dancer? Or do you just shake your ass like all the other girls?"). Saffron calls this challenge game. I use dancing to isolate, pump up her attraction and adrenaline, and escalate the physical. At this time, I display push/pull and a willingness to walk away until she gets my attention. My goal in dance floor game is simply escalation and to create a sexual tension that I break. An easy variation of this is to spin her as if you are doing a swing dance. Girls love to spin and it is an easy BT pump.

Fake Fighting - I like to do this a lot as well. Maybe a girl will accidentally bump into me. Instead of saying "Sorry" you can pretend to throw down with the girl. "Wha-wha-what? You wanna throw down? Let's see what you GOT?!" Again, it's silly but it's a fun thing to do and shows that you're really not taking the girl too serious. Make sure that you are being totally playful and smiling all the time. I will also tell her that is it I am sick of your tuff attitude and challenge her to a thumb-wrestling match to build kino.

Cold Read – One thing I like to do is in qualifying a girl I will cold read her which really helps pump BT. I will tell her, “You look like your from NY, I bet your are a troublemaker.” Slight back turn then reinitiate. Most times, you'll get pulled back in where they'll laugh and qualify themselves. Cold reads that pump BT are designed to push her buttons. Sexual framing fits VERY well into the cold read BT pump as you escalate through kino this will shoot her BT into orbit!

These are three ways to pump BT and with a little in field practice you will get the hang of this rather quickly.

Inner Game: Part 3 "Projected Value"

I titled this post "Projected Value" because we project our value in relation to a targets all the time.

When you see a girl you process your value compared to hers.

Read that sentence again. … Ok ONE MORE TIME. That is what you are doing when you are thinking about the approach. Basically value is a magnet, it is dragging around your perception all the time. Once you internalize that your value is a 10 and other potential approachable targets have a lower value because you don’t know them…. Yet.. you will start to over come the entire thing. Remember that being attracting to women is something you are not something you do.

Now, how can you tie this into inner game?

First make sure that you are writing about your thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Second, make sure that you are actually approaching.

How you can use meditation in combination with game. Well Hypnotica has some products that are really good for this same thing. Meditation will help with being high strung and can help with confidence if you use it properly. If you do get Hypnotica’s collection of confidence and the disk 2 meditation is WONDERFUL! I use that every night. Another awesome product that you can get easy is, Brian Weiss eliminating stress. I really like the self hypnosis he does in that cd.

The following exercise I use to help people highlight where they are (perceived-self) to where they want to be, (future-self)

Step 1: Highlight all the words that you think describe the ideal person you want to be, the person you believe is the full potential of who you are and will ever be.

Sexual Minset.

Lots of new material coming soon that I use for inner game but first I want to talk about sexual minsets. The following is an except from Captain Jack's Blog which I am convinced is one of the best FREE tools around.

But, what do MOST guys try to do? They try to get an emotional connection and THEN go sexual... doesn't work that way.

Waste o' time.

She WANTS sex. She got fucking dressed up for 2 hours to get everything just right so a guy would notice her and come talk to her so she could possibly (finally) get laid by someone new.

So, quit being so goddamned stingy and give her what she wants. If she wanted a nice tame conversation, an enjoyable dinner and a PG-13 movie she could simply answer one of the ass kissing texts or voice mails of the horde of chodes she's given her number to (so they'd finally leave) in the past couple of weeks.

But, she hasn't done that has she? Nope.

This is a point that I have read about 6 times a day for the last 3 days. This is one point that once you internalize it and commit it to your set of beliefs will change your game for good. I want to you imagine for a minute that you are talking with a friend and your friend asks for a drink of water. You oblige and get him a glass without even thinking twice because he has a need and you want to fulfill that.

Women want sex. They want it more then guys many times and because of social conditioning they are taught to suppress it because it is not socially acceptable for a women to sleep with multiple guys but news flash people, they do. This does not make them evil or wrong, it makes them human.

I am still on a high from the bootcamp and watching students change their lives in ever since of the word. I think a lot of people really don’t understand that pick up has very little to do with sex and so much more to do with being the best person that you can be. This past weekend I watched lives being transformed and to know that you truly are a part of helping a great person become confidant in their skin is a wonderful experience as a teacher.

I will always look back on this boot camp and remember so many amazing people and experiences. I wanted to bullet point some things that I took away from this boot camp from an approach coaches perspective.

Progression Part 2: Finding your goal

Exercise 1 was all about identifying your personal inner game sticking points. The next part to this puzzle if taking the time to write down your goals. I want to first talk about goals and why they are important. Goals allow you to focus on a task in which you have markers to see your success. Goals keep us accountable to our actions and reward us with plenty of positive momentum when we achieve them. There are however a couple of rules to goals that I will outline right now.

Exercise #2 Creating the new you.

First off you are going to need to take a good amount of time to do this exercise. The rules are simple, you are going to write down goals for yourself however you must follow these guide lines.

1) Write goal in the positive. This means that you cannot be negative in your goal you must BE POSITIVE.

2) Write complete detail. Take time and really flush out what you mean when you write your goal. The more detailed your goal the better the results will be. This takes time but is well worth it.

3) Write in presence tense. Act as if they are happening right now with phrases like I AM and I CAN. This allows you to own the goal from the start.

4) Rewrite goals. As you achieve milestones in your goals rewrite them and spend time making them precisely what you want.

I want to give you some laws that I live my life by. These have been influenced by my experiences with inner game and have shaped my relativity consistently.

Law #1 You create yourself you don’t find yourself.

There is not magic pill for life and no easy way to learn pick up. You are not on a quest to find yourself you are on a quest to create yourself plain and simple. You choose the behavior or thought, you choose the consequences. If you choose to be better with women through pick up then you will have more beautiful women in your life. If you choose to half ass pick up you will see limited results. If you choose thoughts contaminated with anger and bitterness, then you will create an experience of alienation and hostility.

Law #2 Try, Fail, Try.

You have to fall off your bike before you ride with the best. No one is successful until they fail many times but it is through our failures that we learn what does and doesn’t work. You want to be good at pick up then learn how to take your failures and turn them into lessons. Fully embrace the fact that you are going to fail but it doesn’t make you a failure.

Law #3 Its not about Deception it is about Perception.

Nothing exists only your perception of existence. I tell students all the time that pick up is NOT about deception… It is about perception. If I look, act, smell, fuck and get treated like a rockstar I AM a rockstar. You are what you create you are and the perception of who you are is vital to this game. You have the ability to choose how you perceive any event in your life, and you exercise this power of choice in every circumstance, every day of your life.

Law #4 Passion is more rewarding then Principal.

You have to be passionate about what you are doing. Is pick up a hobby for you or is it a lifestyle? That is the million dollar question for everyone who gets in this community. See a hobby is fun and you do it in your spare time but ultimately you do not devote any serious work to it. A lifestyle is something you embrace that consumes you and drives you to deeper and deeper levels of success. The people who are the best at this game have lifestyles that they have worked very hard on to the point of obsessive behavior. I am not telling you to quit your job but I am telling you to ignore the principal of the game and get passionate about it.

Progression, Part 1: Inner Focus.

"There is always an inner game being played in your mind no matter what outer game you are playing. How aware you are of this game can make the difference between success and failure in the outer game." -Tim Gallwey

Sometimes it gets hard to blog about a subject that is so abstract such as in the case of inner game. There is no magic pill that takes away approach anxiety or cures all your self esteem issues. Everything about pick-up takes an immense amount of work to get really good at it. People ask me all the time how did you get so good so quick at pick-up, well I like to think of myself not as good but as progressive. I have progressed so quick because of my focus, it has been rock solid since day one of my commitment to mastering social interactions. If I had to break down my structure on how to get progress quick without sacrificing important lessons, I would first start with inner game.

I think that Entropy says it best when he says that pick up is self-help in disguise. When it comes to inner game there are certain things that I did that I felt helped me out in a very drastic way.

First is to identify limited beliefs. This is very important because the first law of change is that you CANOT change what you do not acknowledge. Here is a quick exercise to help you identify your limited beliefs.

Exercise #1

Part 1:

Write down in a journal a detailed response on how you feel about each of the following topics.

Your appearance and looks
What you've been doing for the past two hours.
Your intelligence.
Your competence.
Your skills and abilities.
Your worth.
How would you rate your value as a person from 1-10

Part 2:

Imagine that you are about to approach a woman and open her. You find her very attractive and you know you are seconds away from the approach as you see standing there.

What are you saying to yourself?
Take time and write down EVERYTHING that is going through your head, really put yourself into the situation. Write down as much of this conversation as you can.

Now that you have completed this first exercise What do you notice about your limited beliefs? Remember that a limited belief is any belief that limits you in a negative way. An example of this would be, “I am a big guy therefore I cannot get a 10.” That belief is limited and thus identify it and write it down in your journal.

I started this post off saying that if you want to get good at this stuff you need to put in a lot of work. This type of work is emotionally draining but the benefits transcend pick up and spill into everything you think and do. You can only fake confidence for so long until you are forced to address the person who stares back at you in the mirror. You can recreate yourself and be the best you but all these things take time and here is the first step.

"I have a boyfriend"... sure you do

As you go out you are going to encounter a person that many new PUAs fear more then the approach, what is that? It is the boyfriend. There are typically a couple of reasons a girl will bring up a boyfriend. Here are the most common:

1) She is politely telling you she is not interested

2) She is shit testing you to see how you react to this

3) She is being serious and wants to tell you she is committed (or so she thinks)

When I started off in pick up I would get this boyfriend response quite a bit and thus it would cause me to eject and find a new target. As I progressed I saw that these boyfriends had no outcome in the game that I ran because girls will always gravitate toward men of higher value.

As an example I will use an interaction with a girl who I sarged while her boyfriend stood 5 feet from me.

Mayson: Hey rockstar I hear their is a party tonight

At this point please note that I nickname EVERYONE because it allows then to associate a phrase with me, this helps more then you think.

HBhummas: No its like a bar crawl we are at ____ if you come down you will get the biggest hug EVER!!!

Mayson: I might grace you with my presence.

HBhummas sees me and jumps over a table to hug me.

Mayson: Hey rockstar having fun?

HBhummas: Now I am, it is so good to see you

Mayson: I know it is huh (laugh)

HBhummas: She looks me up and down and says wow you have changed so much since school. Its not like a bad thing but what happened?

Her boyfriend is introduced, I shake his hand and my wing takes him for a tour of the bar while I steal his girl.

Mayson: (I pull her toward me and go HEAVY kino) So I want you to come out with me tomorrow to Boston

HBhummas: you know I don't have the money but I want to see you

Mayson: My friend does promoting I will see what I can do for you, no promises just fun times.

HBhummas: We need a cool handshake together lets make one up

Mayson: (at this point the BF is getting REALLY fidgety and won't leave me alone) Ok HBhummas, I am out we have other places to be

(we are holding hands with her BF 2 feet away staring at us and his girlfriend starts talking about her vagina. )

During this I have built enough attraction that she is triangular gazing me and I am almost ready for the kiss close but her boyfriend comes back at the logistically wrong time. Entropy says that there is always an element of chaos in the field and this is a perfect example.

HBhummas: NOOOOO stay, pllllease

Mayson: haha no I need to go make other people happy now too, have a good night.

Since then I have spoken with her and she knows that this is going to go down no matter what there is just to much attraction between us, the question is when will the logistics be right.

The point of this example is that I can be right next to the boyfriend and still his girl will be willing to cheat, it is NOT that she is a whore or anything like that but it is all because we are designed to pair bond with the higher value person.

The main point is you need to ignore the boyfriend because he is not part of your game. If she brings him up you cut her thread and stack something else in it. She gets the picture that it because a don’t ask don’t tell deal and soon enough the boyfriend is out of the picture. This has happened time and time again with girls who had boyfriends and then all of a sudden a couple of weeks go by and no more I get a call telling me they are single. Ignore it and follow Captain Jacks advice.. “If it doesn’t help your game ignore it.”

Practical Pick Up: Boot Camp Review

As I write this I am still in shock of the weekend that has just passed. First understand that if some of this doesn’t make since it is because I am functioning on 3 hours of sleep in almost 3 days. I wanted to digest this while I still had so much of it fresh in my head.

First off as many of you know I was the approach coach for the Practical Pick Up boot camp. I went into this knowing that I was going to give my heart and soul to the students and to the instructors who gave me the opportunity.

Second I need to just rant about the quality of instructors AND students that we had.

Doc Holliday: He and I have been hanging out so much and if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have gotten this opportunity. His game is just so damn good that I am stunned at times seeing him work. Beyond all the game and glamour lies that person I call friend. His down to earth teaching style has just exploded people’s game and its been awesome to witness

Saffron: I can say without any doubt in my mind that Saffron is the baddest son of a bitch in Boston. He is an animal when it comes to the approach and I learn so much for just being around him. I haven’t talked much to Saffron before this and he and Entropy went out on a limb for me but thanks to their trust I got to know Saffron really well this weekend. I cannot even put into words what Saffron bring to the table because you HAVE TO SEE HIM IN SET. I actually though he knew everyone in Boston because everywhere he went he was opening left and right.

Entropy: Before this weekend I have never met Entropy but heard stories that are the making of legends. I didn’t know what to expect and I have to admit that Entropy’s game is like nothing I have seen. I am saying this because this is a guy who has got his shit down to a point that he radiates excellence. Entropy and I are a lot alike in the way we act and approach and its just a blast to watch him in set.

Finally the students: So much potential and so bad ass to be a part of their lives. I walked away a better person for knowing them and I think I speak for us all when I say we bonded on a deep level as we broke through many walls that kept us limited.

This entire event was just unbelievable and I am sure as the reviews come in you will be able to see a glimpse of what Practical Pick Up is all about.

Comfort, its how you play the game

I want to start this off by quoting the great Doc Holliday

You have to accept girls for who they are. You cannot be judgmental of anything they tell you. Once you start to create a real emotional connection with women, they will probably tell you fucked up shit about their lives that you wish they never told you. You can't think of women as sluts or whores. People fuck up. We're humans, we make bad decisions, but that's what makes us who we are and you learn from it and move on.

There are things in my past that I am not proud of but it is because of our struggles that we build character. Pick up is so much more then lays and girls it is a lifestyle. Most of what pick up teaches is how to interact better with people in general. I really feel bad for people when they bring this stigma into the community that girls are the reason they are going to be happy. When you are good at pick up you start to build VERY strong emotional connections with the girls you talk to and thus they spill their hearts out to you. This can be very shocking at first if you have not build a strong connection with a girl.

As trust and rapport is built you see the inner person who’s flaws and strengths make up their character. The more you share your lives the deeper the emotional connection becomes. Women respond to emotion MUCH more then guys do, thus trust and comfort are build which tend to be essential qualities for any sort of encounter. If you cannot handle the fucked up shit that each person brings to the table I HIGHLY suggest that you spend sometime working on yourself and getting a strong frame.

Finally, these emotional experiences are legit and mean a lot to both people, it is not really about gaming but about experiencing what led you too together. Do not jump off the seat in reaction if she says something you don’t like, be understanding because we ALL have issues in our past.

Once you experience this you know that you have some DEEP COMFORT

First off if you are not a regular reader of his blog I think you should stop what you are doing and check his blog out here. What separates Captain Jack from others in the community is the depth of knowledge you can acquire from JUST reading his blog. CJ also offers some amazing material and programs that many others in this community do not offer.

I was introduced to Captain Jack from El Topo and believe me his CJ impersonation is fucking hilarious! What I noticed is that these guys both have a passion for their students and that is really important in this industry. Know the type of girl you want… Period..

Doc wrote something that hits home HARD with me and I want to reference it.

I've gone to a couple of parties with Saffron over the past two months and met a lot of the women in his social circle. 99% of these girls are Ivy League, traditional Asian girls. Now I've always known that I have trouble picking up conservative Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Etc women. But put me around artsy girls or party girls and I'm fishing with dynamite. I can even hold my own with black girls because I've always had a lot of black friends and can relate to them.

First off is my appearance... I have a very rocker style-- Mohawk, wear New Rocks, piercings, etc. I'm outside of their reality and unlike any guy they've probably even talked to before. But this is an easy thing to get over, I look cool and cool is fairly universal.

Second is my personality. I'm very outgoing, loud, overtly sexual, and turn everything into a joke. Once again this is outside of their reality. All of this needs to toned down. Jeffy talks about "Being the right guy for her" by toning down the parts of you that don't mesh well with them and playing up the parts that do. I had an Asian girl sucking on my nipple rings the other day and it was cool until I verbalized what she was doing. After that it's like it all of a sudden became real to her and she froze up.

This hits home for me pretty hard seeing I just went through the same thing. I did get laid out of it but I couldn’t turn it into anything else but a one shot deal. I think about how different I am from some of these girls that I find so damn attractive. I am a person who goes to clubs and dances, they listen to crazy punk and hate society. I go out and love to meet people they go out and avoid them.

It is really two different worlds that are trying to collide and the more I think about it the more I understand why at times they cannot. One night stands on the other hand… Well that is different. Turning it into friends with benefits or anything is really a pain in the ass. My image is that of a clubber, flashy and well dressed. I really enjoy what Jeffy said…..

FR: Weekend of crazy shit.

Weekend FR:

First off this weekend was NOT about sarging. Zilch was having a birthday party in Boston so we spent all day in Boston and Natick and really I don’t go out to sarge at this point. What I do is go out with intent to get things done and if someone catches my eye I capitalize on it.

This weekend consisted of Doc, P1anohands, Weez, Zilch, Scratch and I spending all fucking day together. I mentioned before that Doc is a pimp… let me tell you again that this guys game is so solid that it is sick. To watch and listen to Doc in set is something that is bad ass cause he is so stoic and calm that it screams confidence and that just works so well.

Saturday!!
Props to P1anohands as well because he is one ball of MASSIVE amounts of energy and damn we all hit it off so well. I can see him and I hanging out QUITE a bit! So our day consisted of Natick Mall and then the Pru. Night was Underbar and a VIP party for the ages.

So we are at the pru after Doc’s 3^rd number close and I am teaching scratch and Doc says to me open. I tell him I am teaching and he says fuck you that is an excuse. At this point I smile and go ok no problem at all then, walk over to the first blond I see and here is how it goes..

(As I approach I come in from the back and she doesn’t see or hear me and gets spooked)

Mayson: Wow, chill out I know it is strange to see a guy looking at maps of Ireland and all but its ok.

HBtraveler: hahah

Note: At this point it was just too easy and she stopped looking at anything but me and I knew I was in, but anyone who knows me knows that I am VERY picky about my targets cause I get laid so I am not hard up or anything. So I tell her it was wonderful meeting her and eject. Yes I am an asshole.

Lets rewind a bit to some other events this weekend:

Thursday

Thursday this got kicked off with a girl we are going to call HBpetshopgirl. Anyone who knows and talks to me knows that I saw this girl in the mall and she works at a pet shop and is the first girl I can clearly say is a 10. I thought about approaching A LOT but put it off…till Thursday.

So I see her and say fuck this here is how it went

Mayson: Hey I know this is completely random but like I have this friend and she just got two puppies and like she wants to do a random musical theme for the dogs like salt and peppa or something so hook me up with some ideas.

HBpetshopgirl: haha that is awesome, umm like I don’t know let me think..

Mayson: Oh come on I am sure you can come up with something, like who is the group that sang whoomp there it is..

HBpetshopgirl: (smiling big) ohh yah like.. shit what was it.. TAG TEAM

At this point I am happy as the interaction is going GREAT, and in comes the cockblock UG who works there.

Mayson: Hey we are thinking of duo names for these puppies like, singer names..

UG: ok like David Bowe?

Mayson: eh… yah you are way off.. DUO names hahah

HBpetshopgirl: how about Sunny and Cher

Mayson: now THAT is what I am talking about, niiice I like it your better then I thought.

UG: like how about (something I never heard of I was ready to throw her into a cage myself)

Mayson: (to petshop girl) Oh cool where did you get your lip pierced?

Mayson: no shit I have a friend who works there Amanda is her name.

UG: Yah I don’t know what to name them..

FUCKING UG SHUT UP!!! Boy could I have used an axe… or a wing I guess.

Mayson: I need to jet cause my friends are waiting for me but I will come back and let you know.

So I was really clam even though she is so hot that I am pretty sure the fucking plastic melted on my key chain. Here is my plan. I go back this week and reopen with so this is what we named them, continue my qualify and then do my thing.. I like this one so I will post more about petshopgirl!

Friday:

So I knew this girl who has a boyfriend and lets call her HBhummas... inside joke.

I call her up

Mayson: Hey rockstar I hear their is a party tonight
HBhummas: No its like a bar crawl we are at ____ if you come down you will get the biggest hug EVER!!!
Mayson: I might grace you with my presence.

Weez and I decide to go and I tell him I am going to make out with her so pull her BF away and keep him busy. We walk in and roll like we own the place. We are dressed very well and that bar is full of... shit I guess is the best way to describe it.

HBhummas sees me and jumps over a table to hug me.

Mayson: Hey rockstar having fun?

HBhummas: Now I am, it is so good to see you

Mayson: I know it is huh (laugh)

HBhummas: She looks me up and down and says wow you have changed so much since school. Its not like a bad thing but what happened?

Mayson: People change (smile) Well I cannot stay long so let me meet this perfect boyfriend

She brings her BF over I high five him, do a cold read about him being into cars to get him talking and Weez takes his ass away from me and HBhummas

Mayson: (I pull her toward me and go HEAVY kino) So I want you to come out with me tomorrow to Boston

HBhummas: you know I don't have the money but I want to see you

Mayson: My friend does promoting I will see what I can do for you, no promises

HBhummas: We need a cool handshake together lets make one up

(we are holding hands with her BF 2 feet away stairing at us and his girlfriend starts talking about her vagina. )

He hears the word Vagina and cuts Weez off and comes toward us saying, what is that about your vagina. (LOL)

I am like.. FUCK move this dude to another place..

He talks with Weez somemore and his girlfriend is hugging me not letting go, I push her off and she holds on looking at my lips.. At this point I am ready to go for the kiss but the dude is no having any of this as he looks at us. This was Weez's first wing and he did VERY good but didn't know to have the obstacles back toward us so I could kiss her.

Mayson: (at this point the BF is getting REALLY fidgity and won't leave me alone) Ok HBhummas, I am out we have other places to be

HBhummas: NOOOOO stay, pllllease

Mayson: haha no thanks

We hug, I am happy cause DAAAAMn that was sooo close.. I almost felt bad for the BF.

There was more to this weekend but I will save that for later.

Attraction is not a choice: Part 2

Now that you understand what attraction is; attraction is drawing an emotion out of a person, now let’s talk about how it can fit in your game. Attraction seems to be one of the early on sticking points that many people who are new to the game get caught up in. The entire attraction phase lasts from 1 minute to 4 minutes. The reason for this time is you are simply DHVing, negging and observing IOIs. The point is to get one IOI and then stack forward and being to qualify her.

Captain Jack says that once you have one IOI you have already gotten 10

..so be mindful and watch for her to respond.

Building attraction in your game is done though a process that is rather simple once you know the steps.

Step1) Being a DHV AND ground sequence with something short. An example of this is as follows:

“So every since I was little I would work on cars with my dad and it is a hobby that I carried over, so like I was working on my car the other day and a friend called to go to the beach and I was like sure man I will be right there.”

Do not use this DHV story it was thought up in two seconds but it does give you all an example of how you ground your story to your identity. This short story tell the listener that you and your father spend time together doing activates that you loved and it carried on. It also said that you put aside things because your friends are important and you are mechanically inclined. As you ground the story to your reality it allows the listener to feel like they know a bit about who you are and why you are the way you are. A good DHV story will raise more questions as well. For instance this short DHV story raises questions like, is your father still around, what kind of car do you have and how was the beach?

Step 2) Negging is a fine line that many people overdo. A neg is NOT an insult it is a backhanded complement. An example of this is as follows: “

You have beautiful eyes, especially the left one.”

A neg should make a person feel SLIGHT discomfort. If you over do this and believe me it is easy to do you will look like an arrogant piece of shit. One soft neg takes a girl way off of her high horse because girls of beauty are ALWAYS complemented and NEVER insulted unless it is their boyfriend, brother or father. If you want an example of what I mean look at ANY beautiful girl’s myspace and see all the picture comments of, “OMG you are so hot.” Your best bet is to ONLY use negs when she is unresponsive for IOIs.

Step 3) Observe IOIs. In any social interaction, you should be observing what is taking place with your own body language and body language of others around you as well. When it comes to a set make sure you are looking for an IOI so that you can get out of attraction because your time is MUCH better spend in comfort where the stakes of the game are much greater. Girls will VERY rarely sleep with you based on your looks but they WILL sleep with you if you are an easy person who be around who makes them FEEL comfortable. Sure, there is more to it then just that but this game has much more to do with comfort then attraction.

Attraction is essentially a small piece of bait that you use to bait them into comfort. As most of you know I am not a fan of routines BUT when you start out not understand how this game works then get a couple of routines like the cube or strawberry fields to help you elicit the responses that you want. Once you understand how attraction works, you will be able to reach into the last week of your life and simply talk about yourself and that alone will be a DHV. Your lifestyle should ALWAYS assist you in your pick up and if it is not then you are doing something wrong. What I mean by this is last week I met 6 new people at a local club, drove to Boston to meet up with a bunch of friends, saw the Pats in the AFC championship and went to the gym. All these things can easily be worded to show who I am and what I do in a light that builds attraction. If you keep in mind that to a female attraction is MUCH more about grooming, humor, value and social proof then it is about looks then you will understand how to build attraction from the beginning.

Gun slinging with the Doc

Doc Holliday is the guy your parents warned you about. He is not only by far one of the best PUAs I have ever met he is also changing my game every time we talk. If I could package that dude up and give him to everyone to asks me questions we would all be way better at this game then we would know what to do with. Let me introduce you to who Doc is and why his game is where it is.

Doc is not your typical ego driven PUA, he is an amazing teacher and person with a bit of crazy thrown in there. His game at this point is not about routines or banter it is beyond that shit and into embracing the lifestyle that he has taken the time to create. I tell everyone all the time life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself and Doc has literally done that with his life. He created his image, identity and persona to be one of the best PUAs I know hands down. The funniest thing about hanging with Doc is that here is a guy who is going to be very famous as a PUA very soon. If you have ever hung out with someone who is good at PU, or an instructor you can tell that their game is solid from watching them in set and hearing their teaching. Doc is that person and if you EVER get the chance to hear him speak, watch him in set or see him teach students. DO IT!

All in all I wanted to do this post and highlight some PUAs in the New England area who I think are making serious strides and can help us all in our game. I will add more introductions to other PUA’s and how you can get in touch with them so that YOUR game can grow. This is not about gimmicks, hard sells or anything like that; this is about living your best life and growing your game.

Attraction it is not a choice: Part 1

In general, an attraction is what draws one object towards another. Let me first preface this by saying that there are subcategories of attraction which include but are not limited to, physical attraction and sexual attraction When it comes to sexual attraction most social psychologists believe the following:

Much of human sexual attractiveness is governed by physical attractiveness. This involves the impact one's appearance has on the senses, especially in the beginning of a relationship:

Visual perception (how the other looks and acts);

Olfaction (how the other smells, naturally or artificially; the wrong smell may be repellent);

Audition (how the other's voice and/or movements sound).

I think they have it right to a SMALL extent. Visual perception or looks have more to do with how you are dressed, groomed and present yourself then if you are blessed with super model good looks. Women say all the time that you should just be yourself but it is about being your BEST self that matters. Visually you want to portray that you take care of yourself or else how could you take care of the women in your life.

When it comes to olfaction or smell as we all know it, people over look this lots of times but it is a small detail with very large implications. Smell is tied to memory for reasons that date back to the caveman days. If you smell good all the time when you are out with girls they remember it and comment on it WAY more then most people think. Part of grooming which goes back to “looks” is making sure you put on a cologne that works for you and is not overpowering.

Finally these psychologists talk about audition or how the voice sounds. Sinn did a post on tempo and I think that it fits really well, here is an except of his blog:

Tempo: The rhythm of the interaction. The speed of it. You can use different rhythms to create different results. For example if you are really teasing a girl, the faster the rhythm of the jokes and teases is faster like a machine gun ba..ba..ba..ba..ba..ba. Where as in a more controlled energy level the jokes come slower ba......ba.....................ba..................ba

You want to slow the interaction down as much as possible. Because as you slow the energy level down to the lowest possible level, you can then lead her. That's why most guys have dancing monkey syndrome, is that they don't immediately tone the energy level down. Or if they do, they don't know where they want to take her.

In fact the lower the energy level you can open at, the more ability to lead you have.

All three of these ideas working together are not the be all to end all in sexual attraction. Attraction is defined as, the action or power of drawing forth a response. Simply put, attraction is drawing an emotion out of a person. I believe that many guys go into pick up with the mind set that attraction means something that is based purely on physical characteristics because that is what we as guys respond to. To get an emotion out of a girl is an important step to the pick up game. In addition we as pua’s need to have a willingness to emote as well.

As you see the picture above, you see this girl as beautiful and your emotional circuitry fires as your reproductive system responds to the visual image. The real question is what about her do we find so attractive. Features such as a symmetrical face, full lips, and low waist-hip ratio, are commonly considered physically attractive when part of a female, because they are thought to indicate physical health and high fertility to a potential mate.

Men select a mate based on their ability to reproduce and women select based on the ability to provide.

As you can see already if attraction is the act of drawing an emotion out of a person then the game is NOT played in attraction, it has to be played somewhere else… like comfort. I am convinced that you cannot be good at something until you understand how that something works. There are rules to becoming proficient with things just like there are rules to the game. To be good at getting attraction you have to understand how it works and why it works that way. Now you understand a little bit about what attraction is and next time lets talk about why it works the way it does and how to put it in your game!

Social Circle.. untapped resource

So I have had the privilege to hang out with some REALLY cool PUAs as of late. I met up with Doc Holliday and its cool cause sometimes in life you meet people that you just know you are going to get along with and believe me Doc is one of them. Doc is really down to earth and our ideas on pick up are really spot on with the philosophy that we live by. I expect some really fun times with Doc as we take Boston to another level!

In addition to all this, I have been expanding the social circle and today that is what I want to talk about for a bit. Social networking outside of pick up is a VERY important concept that most people do not understand. When I was getting involved in my current job I had some friends who were well established in the industry and they would tell me all the time it is not what you know it is who you know. The more people that I met and spent time getting to know the more work offers I would receive.

This relates to pick up on a massive scale that I believe most PUA’s don’t utilize to the fullest extent. Some of the benefits of social circle and social proof are as follows. Imagine never waiting in line at a club because you know the owner, what does that say to the people in line? Well without saying a word it raises your value, he must be special. Let’s take this further and imagine if you will knowing 10-15 people in the club at all times so that when you are with your target you constantly have people coming up to you making YOU look important. What this says to the girl is that I am with the guy that people love and thus in turn he must be special.

Other implications of a strong social circle are many and include but not limited to, VIP party access, free admission to clubs and free drinks, constant social proof, people to hang out with and tons of options to meet other people. It is very important meet owners, promoters and people of importance any time you go out to a venue. If you don’t know who they are ask to speak to them and introduce yourself. Getting to know these people will pay off when you need it to in ways you cannot imagine.

My social circle is something that I have invested tons of time in recently and because of that when I go out to clubs in Boston I do not spend a dime and I have the time of my life! I have tons of people to hang with when I go to the clubs and we watch out for each other. Having this social support system allows you to relax and focus on having fun rather then being a wallflower that SO many guys portray when they go out.

If you want to expand your social circle, I have many tips that can help and I will highlight a few right now.

1) Everyone has a friend who you trust be it a wing or just a buddy. Start with one friend if that is all you have and go out with them!

2) When you go out talk to the bouncers from the start, get to know their names and CALL THEM BY THEIR NAMES. This will start to build report with them and it is respectful as well.

3) Get to know the people who work there. Most of the time they are VERY busy so go early and talk to EVERYONE. Don’t sarge them or run game for the most part, spend some time and make some friends. Once you do this, you will see immediate benefits.

4) Build a social latter from person to person. What this means is work your way up the social network of the club. If you need to start with bouncers start there then meet the coat girl, then the promoters etc etc. Getting to know these people will allow you to befriend them thus giving you value that others will never get.

Always remember that you are the prize here and little things like this go a LONG way. When you go into a club don’t think it is all about sarging, many people make this mistake. If you make friends and allow the night to play itself out you may find that your work in the social game just bought you more girls then you know!

Inner Game and Revelations

I have been working on inner game quite a bit. So comment with some GOOD material for inner game people!! The thing about inner game that I have noticed is that it takes time to develop. You don’t wake up one day packed with inner game and open sets like your Brad Pitt on the Sunset Strip.

Some important lessons that I have learned the hard way in recent days are as follows:

1) When you get buyers remorse its not the end of the world. Give her some space and then open her back up. Build comfort when you are with her again and don’t fuck her but keep a sexual tension there. After that apply the 10 hour rule and bam, your balls deep again. Make sure to keep the sexual tension there and do this by take aways! Making her work to win you over is something that I found works VERY well for buyers remorse. This is kind of delicate because if you crowd her then you are fucked but if you don’t stay visible (metaphorically) you are going to confirm her suspicions of being there for one thing.

2) Control the frame and control the interaction! Girls think about sex … A LOT. The trick is to escalate your frame through routines like role playing and pushing her away as things get heated. Remember the frame is the ultimate meaning in a conversation. If I said to you, “She is coming” it could mean that she is coming over or she is about to orgasm. You would be surprised what you can get away with, with a little frame controlling. Always ask yourself who is controlling the frame right now. In addition to this, make sure to turn this off when you are around friends. So many people cannot separate their pua skills from just people a normal person and that leads to becoming a social robot.

3) Push the limits of your comfortable nature. Some of the best PUA’s in the world say things that make me think they are nuts but their frame control and compliance testing is second to none. You have to push the limits of what you think is socially acceptable to get a reaction that most men will never get. Tyler has his students open sets with, “I like salad” because he knows that it is not what you are saying that gets you laid it is how you are saying it. You HAVE to push your limits and try new things so you know how to properly calibrate what works and what doesn’t.

New Year, New Me..

So here is the time of year we all make resolutions... Thus here are mine.

1) Be more social – Expand my social circle and meet more people in general.

2) Be more confidant- For me this means work on inner game quite a bit. I want to be the person that I have always felt lives inside of me. Life is to short to waste on trivial matters and this year I will meet people of like mind who want to be more then they were brought up to be.

3) Kiss 25 different girls- This is a person resolution that Weez and I have decided to adopt as a part of our pick up game

4) Grow my game- This means many things to me. First off I want to learn how to socially interact at a very high level by displaying higher value. I want to learn the social interaction that takes place between high value males and attractive females. This resolution also means to me that I must teach others the skills that I am acquiring. I hope to help change people’s lives through the Venusian Arts.

These resolutions are important to the character that I am becoming. Not everyone may agree with the path that I have chosen but for me this is what I have decided I can do to help better people’s lives and my own in the process.

LR Geeky Glasses

Learning this game is about doing things that take you out of your comfort zone and for me that requires approaches that are somewhat unorthodox. I got lumped in a friend zone about 9 months ago before I knew what the game was so I wanted to see what I can do about getting myself outta that zone.

I picked up my HB Geeky Glasses and we decided to go for a ride. 5 hours later after I ran my entire routine from opener through grounding sequence we planned a day two. Day 2 consisted of seduction and closed after a freeze out thanks to madden 06. I asked her what she wanted as I was playing the video game and she said for me to stop playing it. I made her wait as I scored twice more making sure to stop the game on MY terms. I paused it and literally with out one word took her hand and led her to my bed.

Took me right around 5 hours of total time. (Yes I got buyers remorse, more on this later.) I learned a lot about the process and believe me when I said I was SCARED cause it has been awhile. I learned that it is VERY important to get off text as quick as possible once you are in comfort. I had the compliance and comfort to have sex but after that it got tricky.

I wear a shirt that says pick up artist on it and it has a picture of a pick up truck that was drawn on. Keep that in mind or the quotes of the night won’t make since.

Quote of the night was after it was all over.

HB: Wow this happened so fast omg what just happened.

HB: You totally are a pick up artist.

I also opened a 5 set that night with 2 HB 9's I almost vomited I had so much AA but I am progressing. In addition to this, I am still teaching Weez, Scratch and New York the game. They are all progressing so well and it never ceases to amazing me how teaching helps me learn more about the game. Finally, the social circle has expanded yet again after meeting great people like Doc Holliday, HOLLYWOOD and so many more PUA’s in this great area!

I owe a lot to the teachings and philosophy of people like El Topo, Sinn, Tyler Durdan and the list goes for MILES!!!

Last night I watched a movie with a girl who I use as a pivot. While we were conversing she admitted that she had a little crush on some dude. I inquired about it and she asked if we wanted to come over tomorrow night and do another movie night. She said that she might invite this dude too. I told her it would be wrong of us to come over and use that time to get to know him better get some action girl.

She explained something to me that I find as a revelation.

Just because I like him doesn’t mean I want to have sex with him. I can like lots of people but it doesn’t mean I want to fuck them or go out with them.

For me that is soooooo different. Fuck, for guys that is so different. If we like a girl YES WE WANT TO FUCK THEM. Its natural for us to want to have sex if we have a crush on a girl that goes hand and hand for us. Still I find it to be very interesting. So sex appeal and feelings might not be hand and hand for a girl.

Girls are more sexual them most guys thing once they are in the right emotional state as well. A perfect example of this is the recent text encounter I had with this HB while I hate pizza with my wing.

Realizations

One of the realizations about the game that has hit me so hard in the past week is the all around freedom you feel in your life. When I was an AFC, I would focus on one girl who would give me the attention I wanted. I would fixate on what nice things I could do to make her like me. Now that I am in the community and learning pick up I am still having the feelings associated with a crush but I have it on many of the girls I game. I know how these feelings work and now I control them. I do not fixate my hopes, dreams and aspiration on one girl because I am worth more then that.

I got my first full close the other night and now the girl is flaking a bit saying,

“This happened so quickly, what did I do.” (sounds like buyers remorse to me lol)

When I was an AFC I would let this kill my self esteem. Honestly, I am smiling and happy this is happening right now. I was thinking that I was going to have to explain AGAIN that I did not want a relationship right now etc but she is quoting what I would have said to her.

The pick-up arts are not about racking up lays to me. I enjoy the process SOOOOO much that it has become my new crush. Being shut down is a thrill because through it I learn calibration on a level that is MUCH faster then when I spout the same old stuff and get the same successful results. I fear the approach just like anyone else but it is my ability to react that makes me successful in the pick up.

I started in this community hoping to enrich my life with new beautiful women. Now only 2 months into my transformation I find the game taking over my life. I spend more time playing this game then I ever thought. I write my own routines, go out 4 times a week, teach others, help them write material, fail, succeed, re-calibrate, read, listen, watch and live it.

Gone are the days of being that needy guy who pushed a relationship on that ONE girl who I thought would change me for the better. Now I am changing me for the better, I am the catalyst mixing the right amount of ingredients to become that person I always had inside of me.

Who am I? My journey to becoming a pick up artist

I grew up as a kid who was overweight my entire life. My mom raised me and we did not have much money so I took solace in food to comfort me. I was popular in school because of my friends and personality but I never had a girlfriend. As time went on, I gained more weight and spiraled into a deep depression. It seemed as though everywhere I turned my friends where the ones getting the girls and I was the fat kid who watched it all on the sidelines.

From as far back as I can remember I was always second place in this race. I remember my first dance at a summer campground, my friend and I were about eight at the time and we both liked this girl. He kissed her at the end of the night and I walked home alone feeling a sinking feeling in my gut. His mothers asked me what is wrong, I told her I wanted to kiss the girl and she replied with a caustic,

“Let him have his chance you will get it one day.”

That one day never came. This was the story of my life until I discovered the community but more about that later.

During my AFC days I met this girl (who became my girlfriend and still do not know how maybe it was pity) and we bonded. I thought she was the one who I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I waited to have sex with her because I wanted to respect her; she did not reciprocate that respect and slept with her friend telling me about it over the phone one night. I would have chopped off my arm for her if she asked me too and this relationship took a toll on my self-image. Anger turned to sadness, which turned to depression, and for 4 years, I barely acknowledged I existed.

I decided to pursue my Psychology degree and began taking classes on relationships. It was in those bleak and desperate times that I found the community. At first I paid very little attention to it and thought that it had to be a bunch of crap. Months would fly by and I would still remember seeing the book that would change my life, “The Game.” Finally, I decided to do something about it and really commit to seeing what this was all about. I read so much in the first couple of months that my eyes burned. Magic Bullets, the attraction forums, VA handbook and the list goes on. I got to the point that I would take the audio books and play them on my Ipod so I could squeeze in more time to learn. I started going to the gym, dropped 40 lbs already and have been on a weight lifting circuit. I learned to open a set, build attraction, qualify her, build comfort and then close. Three months into this journey I am starting to teach others the skills that I have acquired.

I want the pick up arts to enrich my life not define it. For me it is not about racking up lays, it is about building a life in which I am confidant and comfortable in ANY situation.
Like anything worth doing, it takes dedication and work but believe me it is worth it.
